I went for a ride on Friday in order to find out about the launch sites on Muskegon Lake. Snug Harbor and Conservation club on the north side are iced in. Fishermans Landing on Giddings Street has been used, but the boats are breaking ice in order to get out. Cottage Grove had two boat trailors but shore ice is forming. The launch site near the clipper (McCrackin) is iced in. So it appears that my fishing from the Skeeter boat is over for the time being. I refuse to break ice with a brand new fiberglass boat!
